About

A redirect, and nothing bolted onto it.

videochats.co keeps a destination address under a short code and forwards whoever opens that code. This page says where that ends.

01

What happens on our side

A link owner stores a destination against a short code. When the code is requested, the lookup runs on our servers and a redirect is returned. The visitor lands on the destination with its real address in the address bar.
02

What is not on our side

We do not host the destination, publish it, edit it or review it in advance. The site the visitor reaches is operated by whoever owns it and runs under its own terms.
03

Who controls a link

Its owner, and only its owner. They pick the destination, repoint it whenever the plan changes, and can delete the link — at which point the code stops resolving.
04

What a visitor needs

Nothing at all. No account, no install and no consent screen sits between tapping a short address and arriving at the destination. If something looks wrong with a link, the contact page is how to report it.
